How to create a Subscribe block

To create a subscribe block, you can use the blocks available under the “Form” Category. Here are the steps to do so:

Step 1: Go to the “Site” module>> Scroll down to the page on which you want to add the block. Click on the edit page. This will open the page in the site editor.

Step 2: Click on add blocks. You can use the top left side option “All Blocks” or click on plus sign at the end of the section. This will show all blocks. Go to the block category “Form”.

Step 3: Drag and drop a form block to the page. Blocks are a combination of Row (Highlighted in Red), Columns (Highlighted in blue), and Elements (Highlighted in green). The form is an element.

Next, click on the green settings icon of the form. This will open a side window. You will see an option to attach the form. Select the form that you want to attach.

If there are no forms available, you may want to create a form first. Here is an article that explains how to create a form.

You also need to mention the “Redirect Url” in the element settings. This is kind of a thank you page or upsell page on which you can ask users to take additional action after they submit their contact information. Refer to this article on how to add a new page.

Once you select the form, click on the refresh button next to the form. This will load form fields on the page.

You can change the image, button color, and button text if you would like. Next, publish the page and test it with an email address. If the setup is correct, you will get a subscriber notification and you will be redirected to thank you page (as mentioned in the redirect URL setting).

Once everything is working correctly, you can save this block as a user block.

This will add this block as a user block.

Note: We are currently unable to capture the images in the user block screenshot, so you will see a user block like on the right side under User Block category like this:

This doesn’t impact the reuse block feature. When you drag the block back on other pages, you will see the correct image copied from the original block.

Here is a quick video of the above-mentioned steps;
