Introduction to Email Sequences

Email sequence is Enlitly is meant for creating automated series of emails in your funnel.

Sequence is also used to create a purchase email and a drip email sequence. These are system generated sequences.

A Purchase sequence is created when a new product is added.

A Drip sequence is created when you enable drip for a product.

You can always go inside these system generated sequence to edit your emails.

Each email sequence is attached to a list. As soon as someone joins the list, the sequence is triggered. Usually first emails in the sequence are set to 0 hours, which means, send email as soon as someone joins the list.

You can choose to send next email after a certain wait time like 1 hour or 1 day. The system will automatically send the next email after the specified delay.

You can add N number of emails to your sequence. There is no limit to how many emails you can add. However, most of the email sequences are 5-10 emails.

Sequence emails in Enlitly are only for dripped emails. In case, you want to send emails at a specifc time, you may want to check out Broadcast module in Enlitly.
