Working with Text Editor

Text Editor can be a bit tricky but knowing how it works can do wonders.

Here are a few things to know when working with the text editor.

First, when you copy text from another article, the text editor will not retain the original formatting. This means that you have to reformat your content and select the appropriate font, font size, and color again.

To save the changes in the text editor, use the very first button “save”. This option is within the text editor, highlighted in Yellow color.

Second, when you copy images from other web pages (maybe from the previous article), the editor automatically picks the source location. If the image is deleted from that location, it will no longer show up in the editor.

Third, to show the image properly, right-click on the image and select the image option.

This will open image settings. Here, you should set the image width to 100% and height to blank. The 100% width ensures that your images are mobile responsive and also fit in the space available.

Fourth, if you want to use an image uploaded in Enlitly, mark the file as public in the Media Library and then copy the URL. The text editor can render public images only.
