You will need to create a new banner and scan your website. Refer to this article to get started with cookie-script.
When you add your domain to cookie-script, it will scan and show you all the cookies on your site.
If you see any unclassified cookies from stripe, please add them to strictly necessary cookies. These cookies are required for payment gateway to work.
To obtain consent to use Google Translate feature, the system places cookie name “EnlitlyBusinessConsent” on the visitors browsers. In your cookie-script account, please classify this cookie as “Targeting” cookie. You can describe the cookie as below:
“This cookie is associated with the Enlitly platform, the service used by this site. The acceptance of this cookie gives consent to use third party service google translate to offer language translation. The terms of service is governed by respective third party service.”
If a visitors deny ” Targeting ” cookie, then the google translate service will not be available.
There can be more cookies on your site depending on if you have added any additional third party code, for example, script from Google Analytics, or Facebook Pixel. Please classify them accordingly.
After adding the banner, go to the “main settings” of the banner. Towards the end of main settings, you will find a place to enter privacy policy url. Copy paste your privacy policy url from Enlitly to cookie-script banner.
From your cookie-script account, copy your cookie-script code.
Log in to your Enlitly Admin Dashboard.
Open the page editor for the page on which you want to add the cookie-script banner.
Go to page level settings -> Embed Html Code
Paste your cookie-script code and click outside the textarea. This will auto-save the setting.
Cookie-Script is installed on your Enlitly page now and should be ready for use.
Note that you would need to copy the script on every site page where you want to show cookie-consent banner. We will soon introduce a new feature that will enable you to enter global script for all your site pages at once.
