2024 Gmail/Yahoo Email sending requirements
✔️ If your domain is new, you may see a very Low open rate because it takes a while to build email domain reputation. We suggest warming up your domain by asking email recipients to reply to your email
✔️ Always send emails to those who have Opted-in to receive emails from you. Most countries have strict laws against sending emails to people who have not subscribed to the list. Buying a list or sending emails to those who have not subscribed to your list often results in too many people marking your email as spam, which will harm your email reputation. Your emails may start landing in the spam/junk folder, and it can be hard to reverse the damage done.
✔️ Always Remind email recipients about how they got on your list. A lot of times, people subscribe and then forget how they got on your list. This reminder will help them remember how they subscribed to your list, and they will be less likely to mark your email as spam. For example, you can include in the footer: ‘You are receiving this email because you chose to download our free guide.’
✔️ We request that you Monitor hard bounces and complaints after each email broadcast and periodically within sequences as well. Actively delete contacts who have hard bounces or complaints. This will keep your contact list healthy.”
✔️ Always use your Physical address in the email footer. As per CAN-SPAM Act, your email must include your valid physical postal address. This can be your current street address, a post office box you’ve registered with the Postal Service, or a private mailbox you’ve registered with a commercial mail receiving agency established under Postal Service regulations.
