How to drip content

Enabling drip is just 2 clicks in Enlitly. On the manage product dashboard, you have the option to enable drip. This option is available on the top right side of the dashboard. When you click on the “enable drip” option, it will open up a popup with the below configuration to choose from:

Drip type: You can choose “Drip By Days” or “Drip By Specific Days.”

If you select “Drip By Days”, you will enter “Drip gap in days”.

Drip Gap means interval that you want to set up for unlocking each module.

If you select “Drip By Specific Date“, the system will ask you to enter an additional parameter – Drip Start Date. The system will then use Drip Gap and Drip Start Date to generate a default drip schedule. Let’s say that you entered a date “1 January 2022″ as a start date and the drip gap is 1 day. This implies that module 1 will be released on ” 1 January 2022 “, module 2 will be released on ” 2 January 2022 ” and so on… a dripping gap of 1 day.

You can always change drip schedule later.

Once you click on save, you will have the option to change this date by clicking on each module name, as shown in the screenshot below:

The system also generates a drip sequence, which is available in the Sequence module. It’s with the name “Drip: [Product Name]”.

Key things to note:

– Drip is always at a module level in Enlitly. Meaning all lessons under a module will be available according to module drip schedule.

– The sytem has a current limitation that if more modules are added after the customers are enrolled, the system will not notify existing customers. So, please make sure that you enable drip only after you have all modules added in the system. In case, you decide to add a module later, please notify your users via a broadcast email.

– If you are manually enrolling a customer, please add also add them to the product purchase list. Drip Notifications are sent via drip sequence, which is attached to the product purchase list.
