List Module in Enlitly

List is where your contacts reside in Enlitly. Here is a quick summary of what you can do with the list module.

➡ Import Contacts – To import contacts, the column title defined in your import file should match the global fields defined in the Form section. You may want to define the required global fields before importing contacts.

If you specify the list name at the time of import, contacts will be added to that specific list, otherwise, they will get added to contacts but not in any list. Note that to be able to send emails, contacts must be on one of the Lists.

➡ Manage All Contacts – There is an option “Manage Contacts” on the top right of the list module. Here, you can add, edit and delete the contact.

➡ Segment Your Contacts – You can segment your contacts by moving them from one list to another. When you click on edit contact, you will find a place to attach the list to the contact. You can keep the same contact in multiple lists.

➡ Add Multiple Lists – Unlike Mailchimp, you can have unlimited lists in all plans. If you are a beginner, you may not realize how important this is but as you grow your list, you will eventually learn to segment and send more personalized emails to a specific segment of your email. That’s when multiple lists come in handy.

Pro-tip – Always maintain contacts in one Master list and then separate lists.

➡ Export Contacts – You have the option to export your contacts.

➡ System Generated List – System automatically generates lists when you add a new product, or when you create a funnel. This is to maintain your customer purchase list or those who join the funnel.
