Enlitly
Enlighten Minds with Enlitly!
Each field in Enlitly can be referenced using its corresponding merge tag. These merge tags allow you to personalize emails by dynamically inserting contact details. When an email is sent, the merge tags are replaced with actual values.
For example, if you include “Hi $first_name“ in an email, and the recipient’s first name is John, it will be replaced with “Hi John“
By default, the system creates the following fields and merge tags:
$first_name
$last_name
$email
$company_name
$phone_number
$tax_number
$street_address
$city
$country
$region
$zip_code
$gdpr
In addition to the merge tags defined in custom fields, there are two more system-defined merge tags:
$business_address – When sending an email, this tag is replaced with your business address (as defined while adding your business).
$unsubscribe – This will be replaced with an unsubscribe link specific to each contact.
Usually system defined fields are enough, but you can also define your own custom fields if you wish to collect more information in your form. Refer to the article below for instructions on how to define custom fields in Enlitly.
