"Due to my background in Cybersecurity and Computer Science, I know the Internet is not designed for children and all these electronic devices are addictive in nature.
My husband also comes from a tech background. Both of us discourage our children to use electronic devices in their early childhood. And so, my eldest daughter didn’t get to use an iPad or smartphone. We have been delaying and delaying.
When covid came and my country Malaysia announced a lockdown in March 2020, I knew one thing. My children have to be on the screen most of the time. The school had pivoted to the online classroom. In Asia, tuition centers are very popular and even tuition centers had to pivot to the online classroom as they could not operate from their premise.
I knew I need to work out something to prevent screen addiction and keep them safe online. Therefore I put everything I knew, mindfulness, parenting, internet safety, and habits into “digital parenting” my children.
Malaysia was in a Movement Control Order for 2 years and 3 weeks. Despite we were confined at home most of the time, my children were not addicted to the screen.
In fact, during these times, I guide them to use the screen responsibly and stay safe online.
It worked well for my family.
A few months after March 2020, my best friend Lydia called me up and shared that she has to fight with her teenage son to snatch back the smartphone as her son was addicted to it.
I realize the screen has created disconnect and disharmony in the families and I decided to share my “digital parenting” methodologies.

Before working with us, Hanna's son was addicted to his iPad. The moment he wakes up, he will go to his iPad and spend the entire day with it. After working with us, in just 2 months, Hanna's son's iPad usage has changed from all day long to 2 hours per day.
Her son installed about 25 games on his iPad and spend the entire day gaming and watching YouTube.
He refused to allow Hanna to access to his iPad.

In the past, Hanna had to yell, snatch or even beg to take away the iPad from his son. His son would cry, and try to snatch back his iPad, displaying symptoms of addiction.
Now he enjoys his time playing with his brother and cousin and even spends time with his grandparents walking to a nearby park daily.
Not only did Hanna change from being helpless, guilty, and feeling like a bad mom, but she also felt more confident as a mother and has become a more tech-savvy “digital mom”.
She has developed a deeper connection with her children, and his son has returned from “being possessed by iPad demon” to his old self, a sweet and polite boy.

How I ended up choosing Enlitly >>
I was looking all in one CRM with ease of use and low entry fees. In the past, I have been using Clickfunnels. Clickfunnels monthly subscription fee is $97 per month. I just got started and I want to generate some income first.
I saw someone recommended Enlitly in one of the group posts. She highly recommended it and share that there was a walk-through coaching call. I find this is very useful, especially for the first-time user.
Most of the platform out there relies on FAQ and if you want to get additional support, the user needs to pay an additional subscription service.
My first walk-through coaching was with Kalyani Diraj. She walk-through all the features and handled my question well.
Whenever I have any questions, I will message Enlitly on Facebook Messenger. Other than due to timezone differences (I am in Malaysia and Enlitly working hours are based on US Eastern time), I can say their response time is fairly fast and helpful. So far, my experiences with Enlitly are good and I can see Enlitly also keeps upgrading its platform.
Therefore, I am looking forward to working with Enlitly in long term.
